Obituary of Cherry Ann Coffee
On September 6, 1954, Cherry Ann Cellers Coffee was born in Texarkana to the parentage of Lavorn Cellers Sr.& Alberta Cellers. Cherry was the third born of six children. She proceeded in courtship with John Coffee and a beautiful daughter was born.
Cherry was a graduate of Liberty Eylau High school, class of 1973. She worked at CJ's Restaurant for many years and Mostek Company in Carrolton, Texas in her early years. Cherry loved to cook, watch soap operas, and spend time with friends and family.
Cherry was a member of Hamilton Memorial AME Church for many years and sang with the Miles Trio with her siblings.
Cherry is preceded in death by her parents, Lavorn Cellers Sr. and Alberta Cellers and a brother Lavorn Cellers Jr. On December 15, 2023, our beloved Cherry was called home. She leaves to cherish her memories, daughter, Javonda Coffee (Billy); three grandsons, Lazayvion Hammick (whom she raised), Javion Coffee and Ryder Coffee all of Denton, Texas; sisters, Verna Cellers Glenns, Regina Mathis, Donna Cellers (Charles) all of Denton, Texas; brother Algy Cellers (Shona) of Akron, Ohio; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who loved her very much.
