George Haynes, 76, of Atlanta, Texas, passed away Saturday, December 16, 2012 at a local hospital.
He is survived by three sons, Joseph Haynes, George Haynes, Sr., and Carlton Haynes--all of Kansas City, Kansas; two daughters, LaShunna Talley and Shunnissa Talley of Kansas City, Kansas; two brothers, Alexander Haynes of California and Elmer Haynes of Dallas, Texas; one niece and caregiver, Darlene Haynes of Atlanta, Texas; fourteen grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.
His visitation will be 4 p.m.-7 p.m., Thursday, December 20, 2012 at Richardson Hill Funeral Home; and his funeral will be 11 a.m., Friday, December 21, 2012 at Shady Grove Baptist Church in Atlanta, Texas with Rev. Kelvin Haynes officiating.
