Hazel M. Brown, 89, of Texarkana, Texas, departed this life, Tuesday, June 11, 2013 in Texarkana, Texas.
She was a faithful member of St. Paul Methodist Church.
Mrs. Brown was a graduate of Wiley College and a member of the Wiley College Club (Texarkana Chapter).
She was predeceased by her husband, Jesse Brown; seven brothers: Will E. Smith, Earl Smith, Dale Franklin Smith, Sr., Oscar Smith, Thurman Smith, Lee V. Smith, and Vernon Smith; and two sisters: Marie Smith and Jo Ann Smith.
Those left to cherish her memory are: one son, André (Rachida) Brown of Texarkana, Texas; two sisters: Myrtle Smith of Cullen, Louisiana and Viola Price of Los Angeles, California; two grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and many great nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
