Betty Jo Martin, 59, 2011 departed this life on Thursday, December 8, 2011 in Texarkana, Arkansas. She was a CNA at Baylor Creek, and she was affiliated with Mt. Grove Baptist Church, Texarkana, Arkansas. Her mother, Leola Martin, preceded her in death. She is survived by two daughters, LaSharen Martin and Christina Martin--both of Texarkana, Arkansas; her father, Roy L. Martin of Tucson, Arizona; seven sisters, Earthie Brown of Texarkana, Arkansas, Dorothy Ward of Texarkana, Arkansas, Alvina Pree of Texarkana, Texas, Mary Warren of Texarkana, Arkansas, Rosie Hickman of Tucson, Arizona, Allen Hickman of Houston, Texas, and Gloria Hickman of Bradley, Arkansas; six brothers, Johnny Martin of Texarkana, Texas, Ricky L. Martin of Las Vegas, Nevada, Willie J. Martin of Pinebluff, Arkansas, Lee Roy Hickman of Tucson, Arizona, and George Hickman; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
