Dear Mama Onetha and all of Moochie's family, please know that our love and prayers extend across the miles to you during this difficult time of loss. Moochie was so sweet to my Ruth, and they became so close during Ruth's first visit there, that I feel like I know her at least a little from the many things Ruth has shared about her sweet spirit, lovely smile, and courage in dealing with her disease. I know of her deep faith, and her deep love for all of her family and especially her girls. It is a very hard road she has walked, that you all have walked with her, but the Lord has been her strength -- and your strength -- and He will continue to be your strength today, tomorrow, and always. I am praying for all of you, and will continue to pray for you. Having lost my sister to cancer in 2000, I also know a little bit of what you, Moochie's sisters, are going through and I'd like to offer this help: Reach out to each other and to your Mama and to the brothers -- stick together and help each other through it. Share Moochie's stories -- the memories you all share, and the special things that maybe only one of you might have shared with her. And for all of you -- live your lives with the same faith, love, caring, and kindness that Moochie lived hers. In doing this, you all will keep her close and honor her life. Most of all...if there are things you need to deal with God about...do it. Don't put it off. I have a feeling Moochie said similar things to you and I'm just echoing her heart for each of you to love Jesus the way she did. :) Love and big hugs to each one of you. Beth (Ruth's Mom)
