Keshia was tough as a child. I remember when she was only 3 yrs old, we all went to the river for a family reunion outing. Well, she didn't want to stay long and announced, I'm going back to the house! We didn't think anything of it until we missed her and wondered where she was. I was holding Tieri in my lap and my sister was running down the river bank screaming for Keisha. That terrified little Tieri and she started to cry. So we all packed up and went back to the house to find her. As we drove up to the house, 1/2 mile from the river, we saw Keisha, sitting on one of the cars in the yard. Little Tieri said, Keshia, yea! That amused me because Tieri was saying Keshia is safe and all is right with the world. Heavenly Father, we thank you for Keshia. And ask for strength to comfort our grieving hearts. For we know that she IS safe and all is right with the world.

Family and friends of Nykesha: It’s true that death brings sorrow and tears, and it is hard to adjust to the absence of a loved one. But what comfort and strength we gain from the assurance that the Supreme God “will actually swallow up death forever, and . . . will certainly wipe the tears from all faces”! (Isaiah 25:8; Revelation 21:4) Please continue finding comfort in and taking advantage of the abundant guidance God’s Word to us the Bible.

Words really cannot explain the sorrow my heart feels right now. I honestly do not think Kesha knew the impact she made on peoples lives. I could write on and on about my interactiobs with Kesha. She had a beauty about her on the outside but the beauty that dwell on the inside of her was radiant. Everyone who crossed paths with her will truly miss her including me.
