Edward Wilbert Lawrence, 69, departed this life December 5, 2013 in a local rehab/nursing home. He was born in Los Angeles, California, and he was a Welder. He was preceded in death by one son, Edward Lawrence, Jr. and one brother, Lonnie Lawrence. He is survived by his wife, Kay Lawrence of Lincoln, Nebraska; one son, Oliver Lawrence of Lincoln, Nebraska; one brother, Leroy Lawrence of Los Angeles, California; five sisters, Mittie McCoy of Los Angeles, California, Carol Davis of Clairmont, California, Rosetta Ellis of West Covina, California, Londera Welton of Compton, California, and Annie Collins of Conroe, Texas; a special uncle and a special aunt, Ray C., Sr. and Berthelmes Bursey of Texarkana, Arkansas; and other relatives and friends.
