Obituary of John Willis

John Willis, 60, passed away peacefully in a Dallas Hospital, while in the loving presence of his family on January 12th, 2014. Mr. Willis was born June 9, 1953, in Nash, Texas. He was a laborer and a member of Evergreen Missionary Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Monica Vanessa Willis of Texarkana; two daughters, Tanisha Dawn Stewart of Irving and Tashaura DeAnn Willis of Arlington, Texas; four brothers and one sister-in-law, Gerald Wayne and Rosa Willis, Patrick Willis, Ronnie Willis and Kenneth Willis of Nash; three grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Evergreen Baptist Church with the Rev. A.T. Jordan officiating. Burial will be in Chapelwood Memorial Gardens under direction of Richardson Hill Funeral Home. Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
