Davis Family, please accept our condolences. It’s true that death brings sorrow and tears, and it is so very hard to adjust to the absence of such a young loved one. However we can gain comfort and strength from the assurance shown at Isaiah 25:8 showing that our Sovereign Lord “will actually swallow up death forever, and . . . will wipe the tears from all faces”! One of the best cures for sorrow is keeping busy in the service of the God of peace, giving out to others the heartwarming Kingdom hope that we ourselves have so gratefully received.
