James Arthur "Dr. J"Roberts, Sr., 71, of Linden, Texas, passed away Tuesday, April 14, 2015 in Texarkana, Texas.
Mr. Roberts was born Sept. 12, 1943, in Texarkana. He was a truck driver.
Survivors include two sons, James Roberts Jr. and Darrell Roberts of Texarkana; four daughters, Windell Roberts, Bonnie Roberts, Regina Roberts and Versa Roberts of Texarkana; four brothers, Rodney Randle and Victor Randle of Texarkana and Derrick Randle and Bruce Randle of Richmond, Calif.; two sisters, Debra Jackson of Linden and Paula Donals of Texarkana; 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.
Services will be 11 a.m. Friday at Richardson Hill Funeral Home with the Rev. David Keener officiating. Burial will be in Nash Cemetery.
Visitation will be 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. today at the funeral home. The body may be viewed 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
