Obituary of Ramere Koontz

Ramere DeShaun Koontz, 35, passed away Tuesday, September 8, 2015 at her Texarkana, Texas residence. Ms. Koontz was born July 7, 1980, in Texarkana, Texas. She was a correction officer and a member of Spiritual Awareness Prophecy. Survivors include two daughters, Frucisierre Menquel and Degianna Koontz of Texarkana; her mother, the Rev. Mary Wadley of Texarkana; two brothers and one sister-in-law, Anthony and Angela Criner of San Antonio and Juaquin Criner of Los Angeles; one sister, Vivian Criner of Las Vegas; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Richardson Hill Funeral Home with the Rev. James Anthony Morris officiating. Burial will be in Chapelwood Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. today at the funeral home. The body may be viewed 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Online registration is at richardsonhillfuneralhome.com.
