Ruthie Lee "Buck" Ivey, 88, of Texarkana, Arkansas, passed away June 8, 2012 in a local hospital. Mrs. Ivey was longtime member of Canaan Baptist Church, and she was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harleen Ivey, Jr. To cherish her memory, she leaves one son, Harleen Ivey, III of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; two grandchildren, Harleen Ivey, IV and Jonathan M. Ivey--both of North Richland Hills, Texas; one great-granddaughter, Jayla Marie Ivey; one former daughter-in-law, Johnetta Ware Ivey of North Richland Hills, Texas; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends.
