I love you Grandma, and will always remember and cherish all the memories I have of going to “Grandma’s House.” Learning to swim in your pool, Grandpa always picking fruit for us from your trees, and going to your house for every holiday. I absolutely loved my grandma and my girls absolutely loved their Grandma Lea, as they called her. She loved me unconditionally, as she did all her family, and was there when I needed her most. You always knew where she stood on things and whether she agreed with you or not, but it didn’t matter; she simply loved you regardless and never gave up on anyone. I’m so thankful for the summers I spent with her growing up, the time I lived with her as a teenager, and the yearly visits these last 5 years or so. I’m thankful my children got to know her and love her like I did. I can find comfort in knowing she has no pain now. She has no sorrow or tears or burdens to bear any longer. She is at peace finally, but she will be missed and remembered forever.
