Phillip Henderson Blackwell, 46, of Texarkana, Texas, departed this life, Tuesday, August 28, 2012 in Texarkana, Texas. Mr. Blackwell was born April 22, 1966 in Texarkana, Texas. He worked at Malone Concrete and was a self-employed contractor. He was a member of Temple of Truth Community Ministries of Texarkana, Texas, where he served as a Deacon and as the Finance Committee Chairman. He was preceded in death by his father, Rev. Louis C. Blackwell, Sr. Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Katrina Wren Blackwell of Texarkana, Texas; three sons, Tarshundrick Wren, Phillip Blackwell, Jr. (Latoya), and Devorian Blackwell--all of Texarkana, Texas; one daughter, Fakeshia Blackwell of Texarkana, Texas; three grandchildren, Aniyah, Tarshundrick Jr., and Zyauria--all of Texarkana, Texas; his mother, Mary L. Blackwell of Texarkana, Texas; mother-in-law, Winnie M. White of Texarkana, Texas; five brothers: Gary Blackwell, Clarence Blackwell, Richard Blackwell--all of Texarkana, Texas, Louis Blackwell, Jr. of Ft. Worth, Texas, and William E. Blackwell of Austin, Texas; seven sisters: Barbara Blackwell, Linda Madlock, Felecia Bell, Stephanie Nelson, and Sandra Runnels--all of Texarkana, Texas, Patricia Blackwell of Euless, Texas, and Irma Blackwell of Austin, Texas; four aunts: Polly Sibert of Chicago, Illinois, Ruth Blackwell, Rosie Blackwell, and Letha Blackwell--all of Texarkana, Texas; one brother-in-law, Patrick White; three sisters-in-law Winnie Haynes (Kenneth), Shakena Lucas of Texarkana, Texas, and Joyce White of Tyler, Texas; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
