Obituary of Bobbie Mae Black
Our loving mother, Ms. Bobbie Mae Black was born in Earle, Arkansas on April 19, 1946 to the parentage of the late Samuel Jones and Etta Lee Ward (Jones). Ms. Black attended Charity Baptist Church where she served as an Usher for many years. She attended Dunbar High School and in 1988 she recieved her GED. She was loved by many in the neighborhood and loved to watch soap operas and sports, and loved to play cards and dominoes where when she called twenty-five, she would shout "My five girls! Karen, Donna, LaWanda, LeKeitha, and Cynthia!" She resided in Sunset Apartments, where she was known for her walk and her style. She will be greatly loved and missed by all. She departed this life on July 21,2020 in Texarkana, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents, 1 son: Timothy Black, 1 Daughter: Donna Black, 3 brothers: Otis Jones, Johnnie Jones, and Bennie Jones, and God parents: Ophella and Osby Black Sr.
She leaves to cherish her memories:
Son: Carey (Michelle) Black of Texarkana, TX.
Daughters: Karen (Danny) Hurd, Wanda Black, and LeKeitha Black of Texarkana, Texas. Cynthia (Michael) Greene of Indianapolis, TX.
Brother: Lethalbert Jones of Buchanan, MI,
Sisters: Samella Harper-Jones of Buchanan, MI, Bernestine Freeman of South Bend, IN.
Special Cousins: Henry Black Sr and Thelma Black

18 Grandchildren, 35 Great-Grandchildren, 1 1/2 Great-Great Grandchildren and a host of many relatives and friends.
