Obituary of Lee Nathan Williams Jr

Lee (Broom) Nathan Williams Jr was born on November 7, 1964 in Ashdown, Arkansas to the late Lee Williams Sr and Maxine Williams. He peacefully passed from this life on November 11, 2020. Lee was employed with Miller-Claborn Oil Company, Texarkana, AR

He accepted Christ at an early age and was a member of Greater Mt Zion Baptist Church in Ashdown, AR. Lee enjoyed studying God's word. He served as Sunday School Superintendent, Deacon, member of Usher Board and male chorus.

For many years, Lee was a  member of the LF Henderson Lodge #1 in Ashdown. He also officiated football and basketball games in Texas and AR. Lee enjoyed playing dominos, riding motorcycles with friends especially with the Double "A"  Riders and spending time with family and friends. Most of all Lee loved studying and sharing God's word. 

He is survived by his wife, Tangela Oliver-Williams. Mother: Maxine Williams; 2 brothers Roger Williams,  Florida and Frederick Williams, Ashdown. 5 sisters: Shirley Faye (John) Marshall, Ashdown and  Barbara Beio, Texarkana.  Hattie Derozan, Vidala, LA; Gloria Raniey, Florida. A stepson, Edwin Hooper, Conway, AR and stepgrandson, Elias Hooper, Conway, AR.  His Father and 2 sisters preceded him in death;  Loretta Ann Williams and Bobbie Jean Williams.
