Obituary of Eddie David Sanders

 Mr. Eddie David Sanders, son of the late Rufus and Willie Lee Sanders, was born in Clayton, North Carolina on November 28,1933. His birth mother died at childbirth. He attended North Carolina A&T in Greensboro, North Carolina. Eddie retired from the U.S. Navy after 20 years of Civil Service. 

     Eddie met Jean Hazel Stewart of Texarkana, Texas, and they were united in marriage in 1960. To this union Patricia Diane Conner, Angela Jean Reed and Evangelist Jacqueline Kay Wells were born. He met Vicky LaRae Body of Texarkana, Texas in 1998. They fell in love and were united in Holy Matrimony in 2001. To this union, 1 Step Son, Kenneth C. Body lll was added. 

     Eddie was  a devoted husband and father. He loved his God, Wife, children and home. He united with New Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Texarkana, Texas under the leadership of Pastor and First Lady Atkins, in 2018. On October,2o21, God dispersed an Angel to escort Eddie David Sanders from this world to his eternal home. Hallelujah!

     Eddie was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers; Bishop Isaac Sanders and James Sanders, 1 Sister; Mary Sanders Royal and Granddaughter; Jacqueline Jean Thomas. 

     He leaves to rejoice in his Homegoing; Patricia Conner, Donald and Angela Reed, Deacon Howard and Evangelist Jacqueline Wells, all of Texarkana, Texas and Arkansas. 1 Step Son; Kenneth C. Body lll of Austin, Texas, 3 Brothers; Minister William and Evangeslist Irene Sanders of New York, Reginald Sanders and Claude Sanders of New York, 4 Sisters; Pastor Margret Jiles of New York, Pastor Arrie Melvin of Greensboro, South Carolina, Dorothy Poole of New York and Doris and James Clark of North Carolina. 1 Uncle Fred Jones of North, Carolina, 6 Grandchildren; Marquis Williams of Anitoch, California, Stewart Reed of Oklahoma, Jeffrey Sanders of Shreveport, LA, Patricia and Eddie Reed of Houston, Texas and Nakia Weaver of Texarkana, Texas. 1 Father-in-law; John W. Moon of Texarkana Texas, 2 Sister-in-laws; Ghislane Jeffries of Texarkana, Texas and Shay Brewer of Dallas, Texas, 1 Brother-in-law; Eric Samuel of Hooks, Texas, 13 Gandchildren and Special Friend Randy Nash. As well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
