Obituary of Bro. Norman Evans

Bro. Norman L. Evans, 81, of Texarkana, Texas, departed this life on Thursday, November 3, 2011 at at local hospital. Bro. Evans was born in Dermott, Arkansas. He was the Pastor of the College Hill Church of Christ in Texarkana, Arkansas. Bro. Evans was preceded in death by his parents, Willie and Evelyn Love of Dermott, Arkansas, one brother, Will Evans, and one sister, Teressa. To cherish his memory, he leaves his wife, Willie Mae Evans; four sons, Robert Evans (Shirley), Norman Evan, Jr. (Jina), Leonard Evans (Lillian), Tracy Evans (Carolita); three daughters, Meretta Savannah (Gay Lord), Denise Diaz, and Alanna Evans, one brother, Reed Evans of Atlanta, Georgia; one sister, Nealy Hunt of Portland, Oregon; seventeen grandchildren; twenty-four great-grandchildren; and many other relatives, friends, and brothers and sisters in Christ.
