Obituary of Autrey Edward (Buddy) Cates Sr.

"Buddy" Autrey Edward Cates, age 85 of Texarkana, Arkansas passed away Thursday, April 28, 2022 at his home in Genoa, AR. He was born September 23, 1936 to John and Murtel Cates. He is preceeded in death by his son Claude Wayne Cates, his brother Donald Cates, sisters Joyce Moore, Nancy Rayburn, Mary Pruitt. Buddy is survived by his son Edward Cates (LaShun), daughter Patsy Minor (Les), brother Johnny Cates (Gayle),  Buddy has 9 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. Buddy loved animals, and loved working in his garden and will be truly missed by the many many people who knew him.
