Obituary of Janet Lucille Hope
Mrs. Janet Lucille Hope was born on June 5, 1939 in Domino, Texas to the parentage of Mr. Louis Tumblin and Mrs. Mahalia Richardson. She was one of seven siblings and grew up in a home filled with love and respect. Mrs. Hope was a life long member of the Greater New Hope Missionary Baptist Church where she was heavly involved on committe's such as the Usher Board, Kitchen Committe, and Vacation Bible School. Mrs.Hpoe loved helping people so she went to work for Meals on Wheels. She worked at the Red River Army Depot for many years until she retired. Mrs. Hope departed this life on June 26, 2022 which was her grandson the Rev. Gregory Hope birthday, she is preceded in death by her son Tony Hope,1 grandson Larry Hope Jr, 3 brothers Louis Collier, Leroy Dowden, Jesse Tumblin and 1 sister Georgia Mae Miller. She leaves behind 2 sons Ronnie Hope of Los Angels, CA, Larry Hope of Idabel, OK, 3 daughters Debra Hope of Irving, TX, Loree Hope Washington of Ft. Smith, AR, Kimberly Hope of Las Vegas, NV, 2 sisters Margaret Sherman and Rose Mary Williams both of Texarkana, Texas, 16 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, 8 great-great grandchildren, 2 special nieces Lillie Robertson and Jackie Sanders both of Texarkana, TX, and many other relatives and friends. Though she has transitioned to her reward she will always live on in our hearts and precious memories.
