Worked with him at Walmart for a long time and we was always going back and forth about his Cowboys and my Steelers and even after he left and we would see each other we would start right back from where we stopped the time before. But win or lose he always loved and had faith in Dem Boys.

So many memories of working along side of you running those Fed Ex trucks. Some stand out a little more than others. Like the time you almost got into a fist fight with a “certain part time driver/firefighter”.Lol! You said you could make one phone call and all your kinfolk’s would pull up. You was so heated that day! We always tried to get over on each other with our Fed Ex packages because we ran the same area. Some days it worked in your favor. Some days it worked in mine. We still had each other back if something went wrong regardless though. I remember us quoting every line to the movie”Django Unchained” when it came out and cutting up to that scene where he pull up to “Big Daddy house.” Lol!So many more memories I could share. Below I’m sharing our last text. It was when I told you about me going on national TV. Your response still makes me laugh to this day. I will always keep it.You will forever be like an older brother to me. I love you dude!I’m so blessed to have all the wonderful times! Im praying for healing energy for your family also.

I've known Ernie over 10 years now. We have spent several mornings talking football, cooking, music, snd work. Ernie was a big part of our family and will be greatly missed. Friday at 8:30am we will tobserve a moment of silence in tribute to Big E, Rest well brother!

This hurt my heart. I looked forward to going to work every morning because we were some of the first ones there, he played the music and he kept us laughing all of the time. For over a decade now, Earnest has been a constant part of our lives. From work to fantasy football, from enjoying good food to Super Bowl boards, and from being an employee to being a good friend. He provided music while loading our vans and laughter every time we talked. He was a provider for and protector of those he loved. Known as Hamp, Earnie, Hambone, Mr. Earnest and Big E: no matter what name people called him, the love and respect was the same. Rest in Peace my friend, you will be missed.
